A Lake Forest Park Presbyterian Church Wedding and Civic Club Reception
Lilian and Micah’s wedding day in Lake Forest Park felt intimate, heartfelt, and deeply connected to the people around them. There is such a quiet beauty to this part of Lake Forest Park, and their day brought together meaningful local settings, from their ceremony at Lake Forest Park Presbyterian Church to portraits near Lyon Creek and a warm reception at Lake Forest Park Civic Club.
Their ceremony at Lake Forest Park Presbyterian Church had a timeless and peaceful feeling. Family and friends gathered inside the church to watch Lilian and Micah begin this new chapter together, and the whole atmosphere felt calm, reverent, and full of emotion. From the quiet anticipation before the ceremony to the walk down the aisle, the vows, and the joy that filled the room once they were officially married, the day began in such a meaningful way.
After the ceremony, we spent time taking portraits near Lyon Creek. This gave Lilian and Micah a chance to slow down, breathe, and simply be together as husband and wife. The natural setting felt soft and peaceful, creating a beautiful contrast to the classic church ceremony. Some of my favorite moments were the simple in-between ones, walking close together, smiling at each other, holding hands, and letting the happiness of the day settle in.
The celebration continued at Lake Forest Park Civic Club, where the reception felt warm, relaxed, and full of connection. It was the kind of space where everyone felt close, with family, friends, laughter, and meaningful moments filling the room. The day came together beautifully thanks to a thoughtful team of vendors who helped create such a smooth and heartfelt experience. LoveCraft Events helped shape the flow and energy of the celebration, while Amanda with Bells, Bows & Vows brought such a calm, steady, and intentional presence through coordination. She helped the day feel like smooth sailing, keeping everything moving with care so Lilian and Micah could stay present and enjoy the moments unfolding around them. Curly Flowers Designs added softness and romance through the florals, Neighborhood Grills Catering helped create a warm and welcoming guest experience, and MXBloom Films captured the movement and emotion of the day so beautifully on film.
As a Lake Forest Park wedding photographer serving Seattle, Shoreline, Lynnwood, and the greater Puget Sound area, I love documenting wedding days that feel honest, emotional, and true to the couple. Lilian and Micah’s wedding was a beautiful reminder that the most meaningful celebrations are not just about the locations. They are about the people, the emotion, the family, the creative team behind the scenes, and the story unfolding in front of you.
